Hive Inspection

WildCA18A (Barrett) has been exposed to some type of environmental poison. 100-200 dead bees broadcast-ed out from hive entrance. Bees were twitching and spinning uncontrollably. Will perform followup inspection again on September 2nd. No dead bees at bottom of hive. No unusual smells. Less active front entrance activity.

Campus hives, Dakota18A, Dakota18C, WildCA18B were opened. All colonies have eggs. All colonies have larva. All feeders filled with 1:1 syrup. Normal entrance activity and numbers. WildCA18B has decreased numbers of bees. Observable decrease in eggs and larva.

Campus hives, Dakota18A, Dakota18C, WildCA18B, opened and inspected. All hive feeders filled with 1:1 syrup. All hives are queen right. Dakota18A and WildCA18B have good numbers of bees. Dakota18C still does not really have a huge number of bees yet.
